Interwell Health is a kidney care management company that partners with physicians on its mission to reimagine healthcare—with the expertise, scale, compassion, and vision to set the standard for the industry and help patients live their best lives. We are on a mission to help people and we know the work we do changes their lives. If there is a better way, we will create it. So, if our mission speaks to you, join us!

As the Lead Product Manager for Data Integrations at Interwell Health, you will spearhead the design, development, and management of our data architecture, focusing on integrating healthcare data into a unified lakehouse. This role centers on enhancing data flow, optimizing integrations internally and with third parties, and ensuring robust and secure data integrations with both internal and external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the vision for our data lakehouse, ensuring alignment with our broader business objectives. Lead the transition from traditional data warehousing to a scalable lakehouse architecture.
  • Integration Management: Oversee the integration of diverse healthcare data sources including EHR (especially Epic), claims, and operational data. Manage both RESTful and custom integrations with third-party providers, ensuring seamless data ingestion and utility.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to prioritize, define, and deliver features that enhance data accessibility and usability. Maintain a product roadmap and release schedule that reflects business priorities and market dynamics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa. Gather and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to continually refine our data solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all data processes comply with relevant regulations such as HIPAA and are designed with privacy and security at the forefront.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in complex data management roles within healthcare or healthtech, including significant experience with data lakehouses and large-scale integrations that have at least 100,000 patients.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and API management to internal and external systems. Experience with modern data platforms like Databricks is essential.s
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and lead large initiatives to deliver value periodically. Strong mentoring and team-building skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, including but not limited to HIPAA, FHIR, and ICD 10.
  • Innovative Mindset: A track record of implementing innovative data solutions in complex environments.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities and a problem-solving attitude.
  • User-Centric Focus: Commitment to improving user experience for healthcare providers and patients through better data solutions.

Our mission is to reinvent healthcare to help patients live their best lives, and we proudly live our mission-driven values:

- We care deeply about the people we serve.
- We are better when we work together.
- Humility is a source of our strength.
- We bring joy to our work.
- We deliver on our promises.

We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our recruiting practices. Everyone is welcome and included. We value our differences and learn from each other. Our team members come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. No matter how you identify your lifestyle, creed, or fandom, we value everyone's unique journey.

Oh, and one more thing … a recent study shows that men apply for a job or promotion when they meet only 60% of the qualifications, but women and other marginalized groups apply only if they meet 100% of them. So, if you think you’d be a great fit, but don’t necessarily meet every single requirement on one of our job openings, please still apply. We’d love to consider your application!

It has come to our attention that some individuals or organizations are reaching out to job seekers and posing as potential employers presenting enticing employment offers. We want to emphasize that these offers are not associated with our company and may be fraudulent in nature. Please note that our organization will not extend a job offer without prior communication with our recruiting team, hiring managers and a formal interview process.
