Matthew Zonis

Matthew Zonis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matthew has served as the Director of Marketing and Recruitment at INTO Drew University, leading international recruitment efforts and achieving significant results such as recruiting the largest international Spring class in the university's history. Prior to this, they held roles as the Assistant Director of Marketing & Recruitment and Marketing & Recruitment Manager at INTO Drew University.

Outside of their university roles, Matthew has worked as a Writer at TriviaLAB, an SIBE Instructor at Rutgers Business School, and a Mathematics Instructor at YouthBuild Newark, where they implemented effective teaching strategies and raised student proficiency levels. Moreover, they co-founded Shwe Holdings, a mobile financial services platform company, where they played a pivotal role in developing partnerships and arranging meetings with VC firms and government agencies.

Additionally, Matthew has experience as an educational consultant and counselor at Top Scholars, working with students on college admissions, writing improvement, and social and emotional counseling. Matthew also served as a WorldTeach Fellow at the Wellspring International School, teaching various subjects and developing curriculum.

Matthew's earlier experiences include internships at USAID, EcoAgriculture Partners, and Vestergaard Frandsen, where they gained valuable knowledge in the fields of foreign service, sustainable agriculture, and carbon offset initiatives. Overall, Matthew Zonis has demonstrated a strong track record of achievement and leadership in their professional endeavors.

Matthew Zonis attended East Brunswick High School from 2005 to 2009, earning their high school diploma. Matthew then went on to study International Relations and Jewish Studies at American University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from 2009 to 2013. During their time at American University, they also briefly attended United States International University - Africa in 2012. In terms of additional certifications, Matthew obtained a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certification from ITTT - International TEFL & TESOL training in 2013. Matthew also obtained a certification in Onboarding New Hires from LinkedIn in 2017.
