Sergey Ivankov

Sergey Ivankov has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sergey began their career in 1997 as an IT Technical Support Specialist at Vladimir State Insurance Corp., where they worked as a network administrator and provided PC installation and software support. From 2001 to 2007, Sergey worked as a Project Engineer at Trassa Inc., overseeing the installation of city infrastructure systems and managing construction projects. Sergey then worked as an Apprentice Electrician at TSR Inc., where they assisted electricians with wiring and installation tasks. Sergey also has experience as a Mechanical Technician at Saving Energy Inc., where they assisted engineers in the design of CO2 heat pump machinery and performed mechanical installations. Sergey later joined USG West Tech Services as a Field Service Electro-Mechanical Technician, traveling between customer sites to provide maintenance and repair services for various industrial and commercial equipment. Sergey also worked at AFS Biooil as a Mechanical Engineer and Plant Supervisor, overseeing the construction of large-scale PhotoBioReactors for algae cultivation and designing and installing a dewatering system. Prior to their current role, Sergey was employed at TGI Thermal as a Mechanical/Stationary Engineer, where they supervised the installation and troubleshooting of a Ground Source Heat Pump power generation system and managed the permit process. Currently, Sergey is employed at Vicarious as a Field Services Engineer, responsible for assembling and deploying robotics systems, maintaining and troubleshooting robotics lines, and working on system improvements. Sergey will soon be starting a new role as a Field Engineering Manager at Intrinsic.

Sergey Ivankov has a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Energy systems Engineering from Iowa State University, which they completed in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Engineered Plumbing Systems/HVAC systems fundamentals from City College of San Francisco, which they completed between 2009 and 2011. Sergey also holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Vladimir State University, which they obtained before 2000.
