Allison Pater

Allison Pater has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Allison started their career as a Front Counter Attendant at Chick-fil-A-Franchise from August 2016 to March 2017. Following this, they worked as a Bakery Assistant at Watterson Dining Commons from August 2017 to January 2019. Simultaneously, they also held the position of Lab Monitor at the School of Information Technology at Illinois State University from January 2019 to May 2020. Allison then transitioned to the role of Clerical Office Worker at the same institution from August 2018 to May 2020.

In January 2019, Allison joined Little Jewels Day Care as an Assistant Teacher, where they worked until August 2019. Allison subsequently gained experience in the field of education as an Art, Music, and Theatre Teacher at the Archdiocese of Chicago from August 2020 to October 2022.

Alongside their teaching roles, Allison pursued their passion for the performing arts by becoming a Teaching Artist at Beverly Arts Center from May 2020 to present and Virtual Performing Arts Academy from January 2022 to January 2023. Their most recent position is as a Performing Arts & Psychology Teacher at Intrinsic Schools, starting in October 2022.

Additionally, Allison served as an Off Campus Ambassador at the Dean of Students Office at Illinois State University from August 2018 to May 2020, highlighting their involvement in student outreach and engagement. Overall, their work experience showcases a well-rounded background in education, performing arts, and customer service.

Allison Pater completed their Bachelor's degree in Theatre Teacher Education at Illinois State University from 2016 to 2020. Allison then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services at Concordia University Chicago from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School between 2012 and 2016.
