Ramakant Rambhatla has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Ramakant started their career as an Assistant Engineer at Oil & Natural Gas Commission in 1988 and later worked as a Structures Engineer at Aircraft Technical Services. In 1994, they became a Project Engineer at Chick Master Incubator Company, where they introduced FEA analysis and designed components for new product launches.

In 1997, Ramakant joined SCHAEFFLER USA (formerly LUK USA LLC) as a Product Development Manager, where they led center of excellence activities and supported cross-functional projects. Ramakant gained experience in multiple facets of the organization and successfully completed the Ford 6-speed torque converter project.

In 2006, Ramakant moved to TimkenSteel Corporation as the Chief Engineer of Automotive Application Engineering and China Project Lead. Ramakant transformed the engineering team, aligned it with customer demands, and implemented impactful product launches and global initiatives.

Since 2016, Ramakant has been working at Invacare Corporation, initially as the Chief Engineer and then as the Vice President & Chief Engineer. Ramakant focused on elevating the scientific and technical approach to product development, fostering a stronger team culture, and mentoring their team.
