Yunlong Yang

Principal Scientist at Invaio Sciences

Yunlong Yang has extensive experience in scientific research and development. Yunlong is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Invaio since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Scientist at Invaio from April 2018 to October 2022. Before joining Invaio, Yunlong worked as a Senior Scientist at VL43 Inc. from August 2017 to April 2018. Yunlong also served as a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, where they focused on developing cloning technologies and constructing ORFeome libraries from the human gut microbiome. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University, where they conducted functional characterization of G protein-coupled receptors and studied genome annotation of neuropeptides and GPCRs in ticks. Yunlong started their career as a Research Assistant at Louisiana State University, where they studied the molecular and biochemical mechanism of Bt resistance in pests. Yunlong Yang completed a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Huazhong Agricultural University from 2000 to 2004.
