Eugeni Entchev has a strong background in research and has worked in various roles over the years. Eugeni started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in 2002 and stayed in that position until 2009. Eugeni then moved to King's College London and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate for five years before joining Inventiva Pharma in 2015.
At Inventiva Pharma, Eugeni held multiple positions. Eugeni started as an Assistant in January 2015 and worked until June 2015. Later, they became a Research Project Lead in October 2015 and remained in that role until February 2020. Currently, Eugeni is the Head of Laboratory at Inventiva Pharma, a position they have held since February 2020.
Eugeni Entchev obtained their MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Sofia "St. Kliment Ohridski" in Sofia, Bulgaria, completing their studies from 1992 to 1997. Eugeni then pursued a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics, specializing in the fields of Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, and Genetics. Eugeni completed their Ph.D. studies from 1998 to 2002.
