Senior Propulsion Engineer - Combustion Devices at Inversion

Austin Sennott has a strong background in propulsion engineering, with experience in various roles. Austin began their career as a Propulsion Engineering Intern at Vaya Space in 2019, before moving on to an internship at Aurora Flight Sciences Corporation in 2020. Austin returned to Vaya Space later in 2020 as a Propulsion Engineer, where they worked until 2021. In 2022, Sennott joined SpinLaunch as a Propulsion Development Engineer for a brief period. Austin then joined Virgin Orbit as a Propulsion Engineer, where they had multiple roles including Senior Propulsion Engineer for Combustion Devices. Currently, Sennott holds the position of Senior Propulsion Engineer for Combustion Devices at Inversion, starting in 2023.

Austin Sennott earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Austin attended the university from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Austin obtained certifications in Level 2 High Power Rocketry from both the Tripoli Rocketry Association in June 2018 and the National Association of Rocketry in March 2018. Prior to their university education, they achieved the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America in November 2015.
