Dr. Kyle Boyles is a Senior Director of Cyber Security Defense at Invictus International Consulting, LLC, where they provide technical and management leadership to achieve zero trust implementation for DoD and federal agencies. Dr. Kyle has previously worked as a Professor of Cybersecurity Management and Policy at the University of Maryland, Solutions Architect at Leidos, Director of Enterprise Architecture at Defense Manpower Data Center, Technical Director of Cyber Operations at DISA and Deputy CIO/Chief Technology Officer at District of Columbia Courts. Furthermore, they have served as the Director of Vendor Management at the Department of Veterans Affairs and Deputy Director at the Technology and Integration Planning organization at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Dr. Kyle has extensive experience in enterprise architecture, IT systems integration, and cybersecurity initiatives at both national and organizational levels.

Dr. Kyle Boyles completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Maryland between 1990 and 1996. Dr. Kyle then obtained their Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction from Troy University between 2002 and 2003. Dr. Boyles completed their doctoral degree, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Systems Management from Walden University between 2010 and 2015. Dr. Kyle has also obtained various certifications, including the AWS Partner Accreditation, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), ITIL Foundation Certificate, MCSA: Windows Server 2012, and many CompTIA certifications, including A+, Security+, and Network+. Dr. Boyles has recently acquired additional certifications from Forrester, EC-Council, and Cisco in fields such as Adopting Zero Trust, Certified Chief Information Security Officer, and Cisco Certified CyberOps Professional, respectively.
