Victor Borda

Victor is currently the Senior Director of Data Science at Invoca, where they are responsible for managing the data science team and infrastructure, conducting AI research, and integrating AI models into the company's product. In addition, they are involved in the communication and positioning of AI features to other departments and is actively engaged with customers to understand their needs.

Prior to their current role, Victor served as the Director of Data Science at Invoca, leading the company's AI and ML initiatives. Victor was also a Principal Software Engineer and Software Architect at Invoca, where they played a crucial role in developing and releasing the Signal AI feature.

Before joining Invoca, Victor co-founded Built On Logic, Inc., where they held the positions of CTO and VP of Engineering. Victor managed the software development and release cycles and played an active coding role. Victor's core expertise lies in building recommender systems for personalized user experiences.

Victor also had experience as a freelance consultant, providing web technology consulting services to various clients. Additionally, they worked as an Application Engineer at Skyler Technology, Inc., where they contributed to the development of a flagship product for trading algorithms and analytics.

Early in their career, Victor worked as a Software Engineer at InfoGenesis, Origin Data Inc., and Riffage.com. At Intel, they were part of the prestigious Intel Research Labs, where they worked with neural networks and contributed to the development of 3D data visualization applications.

Victor Borda received their Diploma from Pacific Grove High School in 1992. Victor then pursued their higher education at UC Santa Barbara, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 1996. Victor continued their studies at the same institution and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science in 1998.
