Michael Zampini

Michael Zampini has a robust work experience. Michael currently holds the position of Engineering Manager at InVue since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Engineering Manager for Transicold at Carrier from 2021 to 2023. During their tenure, they played a significant role in driving the success of the company's transportation refrigeration business, achieving 120% of volume commitments in FY22 and leading the team to zero factory line down due to component shortages.

From 2016 to 2020, Michael worked as the Global Engineering Manager - Protran at Harsco Rail, where they provided leadership in product development and managed a ~$4MM discretionary R&D budget, contributing revenue of ~$22MM per year.

Michael also served as the Director of Engineering - Software Development at ARRIS from 2012 to 2016, building and managing a team of over 35 software engineers, focusing on on-time delivery and quality for high-volume consumer electronics products for major telecommunications companies.

In their role as Engineering Manager - New Product Development / Product Support at IDEX Corporation from 2010 to 2012, Michael led the transformation of product development and support teams, implementing Six Sigma and Lean principles to increase productivity by 20% and reduce warranty and quality costs by 42%.

Prior to that, they were the Business Unit Software Quality Assurance Manager at Tyco Retail Solutions from 1994 to 2010.

Michael Zampini has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from SUNY Brockport. Michael also has an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Electrical Technologies from SUNY Schenectady County Community College. Prior to that, they received their Regents diploma in High School from Burnt Hills Ballston Lake. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained several certifications, including "Budgeting and Scheduling Projects" from the University of California, Irvine, "Software Development Processes and Methodologies" from the University of Minnesota, and "Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC)" from VMEdu Inc.
