Andrew Lomax

As ioby's CTO, Andrew serves on the senior management team, leads the Product Development team, and is directing the development of ioby's updated product affectionately known as ioby.org NEXT.

He has spent the last 10+ years building nonprofit and government software. In that time, he's explored different aspects of public interest technology—from building data visualizations to help folks better understand policy to building case management software to help veterans and new parents apply for benefits. Andrew is passionate about exploring ways that technology can enable people to shape their own futures and has a particular interest in building development processes that allow more people to shape the technology itself.

Andrew holds a Bachelor's of Science in biology from Brown University where, in a previous life, he had dreams of being a public health administrator.
