Merin Johny

Merin Johny has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as a Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from October 2010 to June 2012. Following that, they interned as an Electrical Engineering Intern at the Indian Space Research Organisation from December 2009 to June 2010.

In 2015, Merin joined Accriva Diagnostics as an Electrical Engineer I, where they worked on designing standalone test fixtures for medical device components using NI DAQ and LabView. They also wrote requirements and test protocols for verification and validation of medical devices, following FDA rules. They were later promoted to Electrical Engineer II and continued their work until July 2018.

From 2018 to 2021, Merin worked at InCube Labs as both an Electrical Engineer and a Senior Electrical Engineer. They were responsible for various electrical engineering tasks during this time.

In 2021, Merin joined BD as a Senior Engineer Reliability, where they worked until April 2023.

Starting in March 2023, Merin will be working as a Staff Electrical Test Engineer at iota Biosciences, Inc. powered by Astellas.

Merin Johny completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Calicut, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Merin has an AutoCad certification, although the institution, month, and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
