Peter Clarke

Peter Clarke has over 20 years of professional experience in the technology industry. Peter began their career in 1998 as a Placement Developer at Kainos Ltd. Peter then worked as a Software Engineer at WebForia Ltd from 2000 to 2001. From 2001 to 2003, they were a Software Engineer at Bluechip Technologies, where they worked with Java, C/C++, Delphi, SQL, and Speech Recognition Engines. In 2003, they joined First Derivatives plc as a Senior Financial Software Engineer, where they gained unique exposure to communications between Java and KDB. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Calypso/Java Developer at RBS Global Banking & Markets and as a Java Front Office Developer at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities. In 2016, they became a Technical Specialist at CME Group, where they were responsible for system design and providing technical direction on the emerging architecture of applications. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Regional Lead: Sales Engineering and Customer Success at both First Derivatives and KX, where they lead a team of 12 experienced sales engineers and was responsible for presales for engagement with top clients. Peter is currently a Senior Solutions Architect at IOTICS.

Peter Clarke attended Ulster University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering.
