Taylor Shore

Director Of Emerging Media at Iowa PBS

Taylor Shore has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Technical Editor/Newsletter Editor at the Tallgrass Prairie Center, University of Northern Iowa. In 2006, they became an Instructor at Iowa State University, a role they held until 2008. During this time, they also served as a Web Designer Intern at the Communication Center, College of Business, Iowa State University.

Taylor then worked as a Web Communication Intern at Principal Financial Group in 2007 before transitioning to roles as Design Editor at Flyway Literary Magazine, Iowa State University, and Editor at the Institute for Food Safety and Security from 2007 to 2008.

In 2008, Taylor joined the Iowa Beef Center as a Communications Specialist, where they managed the center's website and led digital marketing efforts. They then moved to McFarland Clinic in 2010, working as a Marketing and Digital Communications Coordinator until 2012.

From 2012 to 2015, Taylor worked at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. as a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst, where they developed and implemented digital marketing strategies, managed website development projects, led digital campaigns, and provided project management and team training.

Since 2015, Taylor has been employed at Iowa PBS, initially as a Digital Content Manager, then as a Digital Strategy Manager, and currently as the Director of Emerging Media.

Taylor Shore received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Professional Writing/Journalism from the University of Northern Iowa in 2006. Later, from 2006 to 2008, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Rhetoric, Composition, and Professional Communication from Iowa State University.
