Wilberto M. began their work experience in 1998 with the US Army, where they held various roles such as Human Resources NCO and Senior Information Technology Specialist NCO until 2010. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Automations Technician for the US Army. In 2014, they joined the United States Army Cyber Protection Brigade, initially working as a System Architect until 2015, before transitioning to the role of Cyber Operator Planner until 2019. Currently, Wilberto M. is employed as a Cloud Security Engineer at iPaladin, LLC-Family Office Software, a role they have held since October 2019.

Wilberto M. earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Security from Western Governors University, where they studied from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in the field of Information Technology and Security. These include the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², obtained in December 2017, the GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) from GIAC, obtained in October 2016, and the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN, obtained in October 2015.

Furthermore, they hold certifications such as the Certified Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) from CompTIA, obtained in February 2015, the Project+ from CompTIA, obtained in January 2015, the A+ CE from CompTIA, obtained in May 2014, and the Security+ CE from CompTIA, obtained in May 2014.

Additionally, they obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in February 2014, and the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) as well as the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security certifications from Cisco in July 2013 and April 2015 respectively.

Lastly, they recently obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2021.
