Loran Jacobs has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Starting in 2015, they served as the Deputy General Director of Drugs Technology LLC, focusing on international relations and business development. During their time at Drugs Technology, they played a significant role in the research, development, and marketing of modern medicines. In 2017, Loran became the Vice Rector for Innovations at the ANO VPO "Institut Ekonomiki Biznesa" Funda obrazovaniya Torgovo-promyshlennoy palaty RF. They then moved on to executive positions, including being the Executive Head of Laboratory and VP R&D at the Laboratory of Wireless Technologies in 2018, and the Deputy Chairman of Kafedra RVK in the same year. In 2019, Loran served as the Commercial Director of Neuro-assistive Technologies LLC/NAT LLC, and later became the Chief Executive Director of the MIPT Science and Technology Center of Optoelectronics, Medical equipment, and Artificial Intelligence. They also held the role of Head of Laboratory at the Laboratory of Intellectual Cryptographic Systems. In 2020, Loran became the Chief Executive Officer of iPavlov, a role they continue to hold. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the position of Group CEO at AI-Systems.
Loran Jacobs has an extensive education history. They began their undergraduate studies in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at the University of Puget Sound (UPS) from 2000 to 2001. Loran obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, during their undergraduate studies, they spent a brief period completing studies in Applied Mathematics and Physics at Yerevan State University (YSU) in 2000.
After completing their Bachelor's Degree, Loran pursued a Master's Degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI from 2005 to 2007. They then decided to continue their education at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) and obtained a Ph.D. in Physics with a specialization in Quantum Information Theory Applications from 2007 to 2010. In parallel, Loran also pursued a Ph.D. in Mathematics with a focus on Algebraic Systems at the State Engineering University of Armenia from 2008 to 2009.
Aside from their formal education, Loran has obtained additional certifications. They received a certificate of participation from the Brains for Brain Foundation, European Task Force on Brain and Neurodegenerative Lysosomal Storage Diseases, INNERMED, in March 2016. Loran also earned a certification from the APV - International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology after participating in the 10th World Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Technology in April 2016. In addition, they participated in the Freedom Support Act Future Leaders Exchange Program offered by the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS) in June 1999.
