The Opportunity

The Talent Operations Consultant (Director-level) will partner with our BetterSleep team, based primarily in Montreal, to develop and deliver a commercially aligned employee experience that prepares the workforce for high performance and best supports the business's strategic objectives. The Senior Consultant will diagnose and solve barriers to organizational effectiveness and high performance and take proactive steps to promote employee engagement. They will partner directly with the Executives and senior leaders to develop and drive talent and operational strategies that help grow the business and are aligned with the global corporate culture and HR strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our Talent & Workplace Manager to engage our in-person, remote, and hybrid-location employees to ensure we have an engaging work environment and experience.
  • Champion, lead, and drive a continuous improvement culture that enables sustainable, profitable business growth.
  • Serve as an advisor and local hiring facilitator in Montreal and partner with our Talent Acquisition team to ensure an effective strategy and smooth and effective hiring process.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and develop additional programs to help new team members integrate with the team.
  • Ensure that employee satisfaction remains high, creating or adjusting programs as needed.
  • Thoughtfully curate perks and swag programs that cater to the true needs and desires of the team.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues and develop plans for solutions.
  • Curate and oversee unique, intentional, and fun employee events and off-sites!
  • Work to ensure that a lack of tools or resources slows no employee’s process or work.
  • Design and manage employee training programs for ongoing skill development. Evaluate effectiveness and adjust strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of the company’s needs and build relationships with every team member.
  • Organize the operational aspects of the company’s participation in events and conferences.
  • Continuously optimize the physical office space while providing guidance and coaching to the Talent and Workplace Manager throughout new projects.
  • Partner across HR and the Leadership Team to address and lead organizational communication and change management needs.
  • Contribute to and partner with center-of-excellence team members in M&A workstreams and integration efforts.
  • Develop and drive an integrated, high-performance culture that is rooted in the Company’s values.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, Teladoc Health policies, and people practices
  • Support the ongoing development of the HR team to be best-in-class business partners.
  • Lead enterprise-wide HR, or Operations-driven projects as assigned.
