Bill Pelfrey has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Bill started their career as a Help Desk Specialist for Berea College in 1996 and continued in this position until 2010. During this time, they also served as a Pastor for the Church of God of Prophecy from 2002 to 2010. In 2011, they founded their own company, Digital Carpentry, where they worked as the Owner and Lead Developer until 2012. Following that, they served as the Division Manager for East Coast Operations at Jolly Technologies Inc from 2012 to 2015. Afterwards, they worked as a Substitute Teacher for Powell County School Board-Ed from January 2016 to October 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Support Technician at Mongiardo Enterprises LLC d/b/a Techs in Lex. Currently, they are working as a Customer Support/Developer at iPoint, LLC, starting in November 2017.

Bill Pelfrey attended Wilmington High School from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their high school diploma. Following that, they went on to attend Berea College from 1992 to 1996, earning a Bachelor's degree in Music.
