David Gammon

David Gammon is currently an advisor at IQ Capital. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Revenue Assurance for British Gas from October 2006 to June 2008. In this role, they were responsible for the billing and margin management for the company.

During their time at British Gas, Gammon was tasked with recovering from a problematic SAP implementation and managing the financial implications of margin imbalances. David was successful in deepening the understanding of these challenges and achieved some early wins. However, a sustainable solution was not possible without a significant financial investment that the Board was not willing to make.

Gammon then oversaw the Billing operation for the company. However, they found this work unfulfilling and decided to leave when British Gas began offshoring its back office operations, including all of the Billing support teams that they supervised.

David Gammon's educational career includes studying Discovering Science at The Open University, which led to him receiving a National Diploma in Natural Sciences. David also attended Brittons Comprehensive school. David is also certified by the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors.
