Carlos Silva has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Carlos began their career as a Specialist Nurse in the Medical-Surgical department at CHEDV- Centro Hospitalar Entre Douro e Vouga in 2001 and continued in this role until 2014. During this time, they also served as a Nurse Coordinator for Medical Emergency and Reanimation Car at CHEDV from 2007 to 2014. In 2010, Carlos worked as a Nurse in Medical Emergency Helicopter (HELI4) at INEM - Portugal.

Carlos then transitioned to a role as a Haemodialysis Nurse at Fresenius Medical Care Portugal from 2001 to 2011. Carlos also worked as an Emergency Nurse at INEM- Instituto Nacional de Emergência Médica Portugal during 2011.

In 2018, Carlos worked as an Offshore Medic at Chevron and Esso for different periods. Carlos also served as a Local Operations Officer at International SOS from August to October 2018.

Carlos's career continued at International SOS, where they held various positions such as Medic, Chief Nurse, and later as Clinical Operations Officer from July 2020 to March 2022. Their most recent role is as a Project Manager at Iqarus, starting in March 2022.

Carlos Silva's education history is as follows:

In 1994, Carlos attended Escola Superior Enfermagem de Portalegre and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 1997.

From 2004 to 2005, Carlos pursued a Licentiate degree in Nursing at Escola Superior Enfermagem Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa Oliveira de Azeméis.

In 2009 and 2010, Carlos specialized as a Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical at Escola Superior Enfermagem Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa Oliveira Azeméis.

From 2015 to 2017, Carlos received training in Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) at Survivex.

In 2017, Carlos furthered their education with various certifications. Carlos obtained an Advanced Cardio-Vascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Carlos also received an International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) certification from the Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde-Norte. Additionally, Carlos became an ITLS provider from the same institution.

Carlos continued to enhance their skills and obtained additional certifications. In 2015, they obtained an ACLS certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association. In 2017, they received an ITLS - International Trauma Life Support certification from CESPU - Cooperativa de Ensino Superior Politécnico e Universitário. Finally, Carlos obtained a FOET certification in 2019 from Grupo Stier OPITO Training Centre.
