Giuseppe Bergesio

Since November 2013, Giuseppe Bergesio has been Chief Executive Officer of the company Iren Energia. He was born in Turin in 1966, he carried out his military service as a Complement Officer of the Alpini in Aosta. He graduated with honors in Economics and Commerce in Turin in 1992, with a research thesis on the productivity of capital. From 1992 to 1995 he worked for the SAI Group, in the Equity Investments sector, as an Executive Assistant. He joined AEM Torino in 1995 in the Administration, Finance and Control area, where he assumed increasing responsibilities until he became, in 2002, Head of Planning and Finance and Head of Investor Relations. He introduced the Sustainability Report, winning the Sodalitas Social Award in 2005. Since the start of Iride, he has held the position of Management Control Director of the new Group. Since 2010, he has been Director of Risk Management and Head of Strategic Planning of the Iren Group.

Other positions include those of director of Energia Italiana SpA, Member of the Executive Committee of Confservizi Piemonte - Valle d'Aosta, member of the General Council of the Turin Chamber of Commerce.
