Tony Chia

Tony Chia has a strong background in DevOps and software engineering. Tony started their career in 1997 as a Test Engineer, working with Logicon to assist Boeing with software re-host schedule slippage. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Software Developer at Northrop Grumman/Logicon, where they developed a real-time mission planning system. Tony then joined Citigroup in 2000 as a Test Lead, overseeing quality assurance efforts and managing a team. In 2007, Tony joined Yahoo, initially as a Senior Quality Engineer for Search and Display, conducting testing and implementing automated testing frameworks. Later, they became a Senior Build and Release Engineer for Search Advertising, creating CI/CD templates and managing the company's Jenkins build farm. From 2016 onwards, Tony has been working at IRIS.TV as a DevOps, responsible for managing and developing DevOps toolchains with AWS cloud infrastructure. Tony has been involved in maintaining highly available video recommendation services and reducing costs through optimization and root cause analysis.

Tony Chia obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from California State University, Long Beach. In terms of additional certifications, they completed various courses and received certifications from different institutions.
