Walter Gildersleeve has extensive work experience in the software engineering and customer success fields. Walter'scareer began in 1996 as a Graduate Instructor at The University of Iowa. In 1999, they became a Programmer at IVU Traffic Technologies AG. Walter then worked as a Senior Software Developer at Productivity Engineering, GmbH from 2000 to 2007. In 2007, they joined TransUnion as a Senior Technical Analyst, where they maintained and extended a Java-based big-data people search tool and designed and developed a phonetic name search engine. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at Jive Software in various roles, including Senior Professional Services Engineer, Professional Services Engineer, and Senior Engineering Manager of Professional Services. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Senior Sales Engineer at Puppet, where they were responsible for maintaining clear technical communications with DACH & CEE customers and prospects. In 2019, they joined UiPath as a Technical Account Manager, EMEA, Customer Success Manager, Emerging Products, and Customer Success Manager. Currently, they are a Customer Solutions Architect at IriusRisk.

Walter Gildersleeve obtained their Masters of Arts in History from the University of Iowa between 1996 and 1999. Walter received their BA in History and Political Science from Eastern Oregon University between 1995 and 1997. Walter attended Oregon State University for Computer Science between 1986 and 1987 and Eastern Oregon University for Computer Science between 1985 and 1986. In addition to their education, Walter Gildersleeve has obtained a Sun Certified Professional from Sun Microsystems in February 2005, a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in November 2016, and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from the Six Sigma Global Institute.
