Patrick Gioia

Patrick Gioia is an experienced expert in holography and multiview coding and displays, currently serving as a project manager at Orange Labs since October 2009 and as a researcher at IRT b-com since December 2013, focusing on digital holography and hologram compression. Additionally, Patrick Gioia has held roles as a research engineer, MPEG delegate, and senior expert in synthetic 3D streaming at France Telecom R & D - Orange Labs since October 1997. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science and Signal Processing from Université de Rennes 1 and a Magistère from Magistère de Mathématiques de Rennes.
