Senior Director Program Management at ISA Pharmaceuticals

Lisette Bevaart has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Lisette began their career in 2001 as a PhD student at Utrecht University, where they investigated the role Fcgamma receptors play when using antibody therapeutics for cancer. In 2005, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Utrecht University, teaching and researching as part of a strategic alliance between Danone Research and the Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences. From 2006 to 2019, Lisette worked at Arthrogen, first as a Scientist, then as a Senior Scientist, and finally as a Manager of Non-Clinical Development. In this role, they supervised a team of scientists and technicians, and was responsible for lead target and pipeline development. Lisette also gained experience in viral gene therapy and antibody therapeutics, as well as pre-clinical and non-clinical studies. From 2019 to 2022, Lisette was a Senior Director of Program Management at LAVA Therapeutics N.V., where they managed compounds in (pre-)clinical development, overseeing program activities in clinical, regulatory, CMC, assay development, non-clinical, and writing departments. Lisette also generated drug development plans and integrated timelines. Currently, Lisette is a Program Manager Cell Therapy at Amsterdam UMC, where they are developing innovative CAR T-cells from bench to bedside.

Lisette Bevaart attended Utrecht University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Master of Science in Medical Biology.
