Sam Feldman

Sam Feldman is an experienced professional currently serving as the Community Development Officer at Island Institute since February 2023. Previously, Sam held several positions at Mere Point Oyster Company from June 2019 to February 2023, including Farm Director, Nursery Manager, and Farm Hand. Prior to that, Sam was a Biology Teacher at Baxter Academy for Tech & Sciences from August 2016 to August 2020. Sam's educational background includes a Professional Science Master's in Ocean Food Systems from the University of New England (2020-2021), a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning from the University of Southern Maine (2015-2016), and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Maine (2008-2012).
