Pietro Elisei

Pietro Elisei serves as the President of ISOCARP – International Society of City and Regional Planners since November 2020 and has been a Founder Member and Director of URBASOFIA, a laboratory for urban development and territorial cohesion, since September 2011. With a strong background in urban planning and regional policy design, Pietro Elisei has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Communication and Marketing at ISOCARP from 2013 to 2016. Educational credentials include an Engineer’s Degree in Environmental Studies with a specialization in Urban Planning from Sapienza Università di Roma, as well as notable studies at Technische Universität Berlin and Technische Universität Darmstadt. Pietro Elisei completed doctoral studies in Urban and Regional Policy Design and holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Università degli studi Roma TRE.
