Barak Shahar has a diverse range of work experience in the chemical industry. Barak started their career as a Maintenance Engineer at Rotem Amfert Negev Ltd. in 2008, where they worked until 2011. Barak then joined KAMADA as a Project Manager from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, Barak joined ICL Group as a Maintenance Manager until 2015, where they were responsible for meeting safety and ecology requirements. Barak then became a Plant Manager at ICL Group's FR plants at Neot Hovav site, managing about 100 employees and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Currently, Barak serves as the Head of Project & Construction Management at ICL Group, overseeing safety and environmental performance.
Barak Shahar completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2010. Barak then pursued a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the same university, graduating in 2020.
