Ornella Bua

Ornella Bua has a varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Marketing Coordinator for iSTAR Medical, where they are responsible for planning and executing the company's participation in congresses, events, and physician meetings. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Meetings & Events Planner for American Express Global Business Travel, where they sourced and recommended venues for small and large events all over the world. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as an Events & Communications Assistant to the Director General at the Association of the European Self-Medication Industry (AESGP). From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an English Teacher at CECS La Garenne/Athénée Royal Ernest Solvay/Ecole Industrielle de Marchienne-au-Pont. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Student Tutor for Educadomo (Sodexo personal and home solutions). Finally, from 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Communications Intern for California ESL - Language Academy.

Ornella Bua completed a Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) Program at Del Norte County High School in Crescent City, California from 2007 to 2008. Ornella then attained a CESS, Languages degree from Collège Saint Michel in Gosselies from 2001 to 2007. From 2008 to 2011, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Literatures (English and Spanish) from the Université libre de Bruxelles. Ornella also completed an Erasmus program in Filología Theirpánica y Lingüística at the Universidad de Cádiz from 2010 to 2011. Finally, they earned a Master's degree in Multilingual Communication (and Human Resources) from the Université libre de Bruxelles from 2011 to 2013.
