Danne Stayskal

Danne Stayskal has diverse work experience in various technical roles. Currently, they are working as a Distinguished Engineer at Istari since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Staff Engineer at Stripe from 2021 to 2023. In this role, they played a crucial part in designing and implementing secure systems for storing customer data and identifying vulnerabilities. Before Stripe, they worked at Oracle from 2017 to 2021, where they held positions such as Architect, Sr. Principal Engineer, and Principal Engineer. At Oracle, they focused on designing and testing systems related to Covid support and developing standards for user interfaces and data handling. Additionally, they also worked at companies like Virtru, Evident, Robly, Copious, eCarList, and the University of Texas at Arlington, gaining experience in fields like cryptosystems engineering, data science, software engineering, and linguistic analysis. In one of their earlier roles as a Contract Engineer, they designed cryptographic infrastructure for a rotorcraft real-time embedded data storage and retrieval device.

From 1998 to 2008, Danne Stayskal attended The University of Texas at Arlington. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Computational Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence.
