Ashwin Menezes

Ashwin Menezes is an accomplished IT educator and programmer with extensive experience in both teaching and interactive technology development. Currently serving as the Head IT Teacher at STEP IT Academy since September 2020, Ashwin has been responsible for delivering various technical programs to students aged 10-14, managing lessons both in-person and online. Prior to this role, Ashwin worked at Fractal Systems, progressing from a Software Development Intern to a Junior Programmer, where responsibilities included developing games and applications using Unity3D and interactive technologies. Ashwin's early experience includes internships focused on Augmented Reality applications and community workshops on emerging tech topics. Ashwin holds an Honour's Degree in Computer Systems from Heriot-Watt University and continues to pursue further education at the same institution.
