Director Of Workforce Programs at It Takes A Village Family of Schools

Darrell Brown has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Darrell started their professional career as a Marketing Intern at Campus Recreation Northern Illinois University in 2014. In this role, they managed and coordinated the Rewards program data, assisted with promotions and publications, spoke at tabling events to increase membership, and conducted social media analytics.

After that, Darrell worked as a Facility Supervisor at Campus Recreation Northern Illinois University from 2009 to 2014. Their responsibilities included supervising the facility and ensuring its smooth operations.

Darrell then transitioned to the Children's Learning Center in 2014, where they served as a Head Teacher and Site Coordinator until 2017. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and managing the site's operations.

From 2017 to 2020, Darrell worked as a Teacher Coach at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago. Their main responsibilities included coaching and supporting fellow teachers.

Currently, Darrell Brown holds the position of Director of Early Childhood Workforce Programs at It Takes A Village Early Learning Centers since 2020.

Darrell Brown attended Kishwaukee College from 2010 to 2011, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in General Studies. Darrell then pursued their Bachelor's of Science in Public Health at Northern Illinois University from 2012 to 2014.
