Joe Tatman

Joe Tatman has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Joe is currently working as an Executive Principal Analyst at ITA International, starting in September 2020. Before that, they held the same position at Innovative Decisions, Inc. for almost two decades, from October 2001 to September 2020. During this time, they were responsible for business development and management of Bayesian network and other analytics projects. Joe also helped develop and teach Bayesian Network professional short courses.

Prior to their role at Innovative Decisions, Inc., Joe worked at TASC, Inc. as a Principal Member of Technical Staff from March 1997 to January 2001. Joe was also employed at SAIC as a Senior Analyst from 1993 to 1997 and at the Air Force Studies and Analyses Agency as a Senior Analyst from 1990 to 1993.

Joe's career began at the Air Force Institute of Technology, where they worked as an Assistant Professor from 1986 to 1990. Before that, they were a PhD Student at Stanford University from 1982 to 1985. Joe also worked as an Integrated Circuits Engineer and a Masters Student at the US Air Force Avionics Lab from 1978 to 1982.

Joe started their professional journey as an Undergraduate Student at the University of Notre Dame, where they studied from August 1974 to May 1978. Joe also had a Student Internship at National Waterlift in 1977.

Joe Tatman received their PhD in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University in the years 1982 to 1986. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Integrated Circuits) from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology in 1978 to 1979. Joe completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from 1974 to 1978. Before their university education, Joe Tatman attended Ben Davis High School.
