Alexandra Cervini Mull

Deputy Director, Itad US at ITAD Limited

Ali is the Deputy Director of Itad US and works in both program management and business development. She has 11+ years of international development experience in business development and project management in both development and Fragile and Conflict Affected Settings contexts.

She has worked for multiple development organizations leading their business development efforts as well as providing program management services and technical expertise related to gender equality and social inclusion.

Her experience in business development includes preparing proposals for a variety of donors including USAID, USDA, DOS, MCC, FCDO, UN Agencies and iNGOs. In her previous role at IMC Worldwide she developed and implemented the strategic goals and visions for the company, including securing IMC’s first prime contract with USAID.

Ali brings experience working on programs that focus on gender equality, social inclusion, and GBV prevention and response. Additionally, she supported the start-up and research phase for a USAID-funded renewable energy program in Lebanon and has undertaken several field missions, including in FCAS contexts for programs related to UNFPA, UN Women, IRC, the World Bank, and Plan International. Illustratively, she managed four evaluations related to the Girls’ Education Challenge Fund- Leave No Girl Behind Program in Sierra Leone that targets out-of-school and vulnerable adolescent girls and participated on an evaluation of UNFPA’s response to the Syrian Crisis.

Prior to her tenure at IMC, Ali worked for Women Thrive Worldwide, lived in Denmark where she worked with DANIDA-funded projects in sub-Saharan Africa, and also lived in Oaxaca, Mexico. Ali has a MA in Public Administration from Roskilde University in Denmark and is based in Washington, DC.
