Lee Reeves

Lee Reeves has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the legal and consulting fields. Lee is currently serving as the General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for Itafos, where they are responsible for overseeing governance, risk, and compliance elements. Prior to this role, Lee founded MLR Consulting, LLC in 2020, providing advisory services to organizations in areas such as corporate governance, risk and compliance programs, and strategic transactions.

Lee has also held positions as the General Counsel for Market America, Inc., where they managed legal, risk, and compliance matters for a large private company. As the Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary for Lumber Liquidators, they were responsible for managing governance, legal, compliance, and HR services.

Earlier in their career, Lee worked at Nexsen Pruet, LLC, where they created a new legal services model and provided innovative solutions for clients in various industries. Lee also held senior executive positions at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where they partnered with the General Counsel to provide structure for the Legal Department and oversaw capital allocation and project management.

Lee began their career as an Associate at law firms such as Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC, McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, Bryan Cave LLP, and Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP. Lee'swork in these roles involved transactional work, corporate finance, and providing legal consultation to a wide range of clients. Overall, Lee's work experience demonstrates their expertise in governance, risk management, compliance, and strategic advisory services across multiple industries.

Lee Reeves has a strong educational background in law and business. In 1990, they graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree in Finance. Following this, Lee attended the Southern Methodist University School of Law and earned their Juris Doctor (J.D) degree in 1996. Displaying a commitment to further enhancing their skills, Lee completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP 183) at Harvard Business School in 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Lee Reeves holds several professional certifications. Lee is licensed to practice law in various states, including Virginia (obtained in 2017), North Carolina (obtained in 2014), Georgia (obtained in 1999), and New York (obtained in 1997). Alongside their legal expertise, Lee is also a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, having obtained this certification from the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.
