Project Leader Powertrain at Italdesign

Andrea Montanari has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, primarily with Italdesign. From May 2017 to the present, they have served as a Project Leader Powertrain, overseeing the development of various components in six major platforms. This role involves leading an international team with diverse backgrounds and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

From December 2018 to May 2021, Andrea worked as a Project Leader Thermal Management. In this position, they were responsible for the aerodynamics, engine cooling, climate system, and ventilation of an electric vehicle and an ICE facelift. Andrea handled all commercial aspects with clients, including estimates, performance reviews, and project status. Despite leading an understaffed team, they successfully balanced quality work and project timelines.

Prior to their project leadership roles, Andrea served as the Team Leader of Engine Cooling and Climate Control from May 2017 to December 2018. Their responsibilities included coordinating and integrating requirements from clients and suppliers and ensuring the development of air guiding parts and water hoses.

Before joining Italdesign, Andrea worked at Italdesign Deutschland as an SE Sprecher from July 2015 to May 2017. Andrea also gained experience as an intern in Thermal Management at Italdesign Giugiaro from January 2015 to July 2015.

Andrea Montanari completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Quantic School of Business and Technology from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a master's degree in aerospace engineering (specifically in the field of aerospace, aeronautics, and astronautics) from Politecnico di Torino from 2012 to 2014. Before their master's program, Andrea Montanari earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 2009 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Andrea Montanari obtained the "Scrum: The Basics" certification from LinkedIn in March 2022, as well as the "Project Management Skills for Leaders" certification from LinkedIn in February 2022.
