Kristel Shu Bassett Pe, Ptoe

Kristel Shu Bassett, PE, PTOE has extensive experience in transportation engineering and planning. Kristel Shu is currently working as a Senior Engineer at Iteris, Inc., where they are responsible for various engineering projects. Prior to this, Kristel worked at Sam Schwartz as a Senior Transportation Engineer, where they developed optimized traffic signal timings and performed capacity analysis for traffic engineering projects. Kristel Shu also prepared traffic impact studies for various land uses.

Before joining Sam Schwartz, Kristel worked at The RBA Group as a Junior Transportation Engineer, where they gained experience in designing various plans and preparing quantity and cost estimations. Kristel Shu also worked with NYC DDC, DOT, SDOT, and other organizations.

Kristel started their career as a Transportation Planning Intern at NYC Department of Transportation, where they gained valuable experience in transportation planning. Kristel Shu also worked as a Historic Research Intern at The Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation.

Kristel Shu Bassett, PE, PTOE attended The City College of New York from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Kristel Shu then pursued their interest in Civil Engineering, studying at the same institution from 2009 to 2012, and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
