Rsp ₁ Norris Novat

Norris Novat, RSP₁ has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2016, they worked as a Civil Engineering Intern at Tanzania Building Agency, followed by internships at Estim Construction Co. Ltd. in 2017 and Luptan consults limited in 2018. In 2020, Norris took on the role of a Civil Sales Engineer at Nabaki Afrika and then became a Civil Engineer at BAM International bv. In 2022, they worked as a Co-op Transportation Engineer at CT Consultants before joining Cleveland State University as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. Currently, Norris works as a Signal Optimization Engineer at Iteris, Inc.

Norris Novat, RSP₁, has a solid educational background in civil engineering. Norris earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering from Ardhi University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Building on this foundation, Norris pursued further education and recently completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation from Cleveland State University, where they attended from 2021 to 2022.

In addition to their academic achievements, Norris has obtained two notable certifications. Norris received an Engineer In Training (EIT) certification from the NCEES in December 2022. Furthermore, they obtained the Road Safety Professional (RSP₁) certification from ITE in November 2022. These certifications demonstrate Norris's commitment to continuous professional development and enhance their expertise in the field of civil engineering, specifically in transportation and road safety.
