Piyush Patel

Piyush Patel has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and operations. Their most recent role was as an Associate Director of Quality at Iveric Bio, where they began in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a QA Manager at Pfizer from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2021, Piyush held the position of Associate Director of Quality Operations at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, focusing on managing commercial quality assurance activities for OTC drugs and combination products. Before that, they worked as a Client Manager and QMS Auditor at BSI from 2018 to 2019. Piyush also has experience at Teva Pharmaceuticals, CR Bard, Johnson & Johnson, Stryker, B. Braun Medical, and General Chemicals, where they held various quality-related roles throughout their career.

Piyush Patel has a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Piyush also holds a Master of Technology degree in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Metallurgy Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Patel has also obtained several certifications including ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor (TPECS) and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (TPECS) from BSI. Piyush is also certified in CQA by ASQ - World Headquarters in 2014 and CQE in 2002.
