Mathew Thompson has been working in the industry since 2011. Mathew began their career as a Chef at Il piccolo Italian Restaurant in 2011. In 2014, they joined Belgravia Leisure as a Duty Manager/Supervisor of Operations. In 2017, they moved to Telstra as a Customer Service Expert. In 2019, they joined Sykes Australia as a Subject Matter Expert. Most recently, they are currently working as a Global Client Success Manager at iVvy Pty Ltd since 2021.

Mathew Thompson attended the University of the Sunshine Coast from 2011 to 2015, where they completed a COMMERCIAL Cookery apprenticeship/cookery. In 2016, they obtained a Pool Lifeguard Certificate from Royal Lifesaving Australia. In 2017, they completed a Pool Operations degree from Fast College in the field of Sport and Recreation.
