Amy Brewer

Amy Brewer is a scientist at Ivy Farm Technologies. Amy has a background in research, having worked as a stem cell officer at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, and as a research scientist at The University of Edinburgh. Prior to that, they were a PhD student at Teagasc and Trinity College Dublin. Amy also has experience working with animals, having interned at the Saint Louis Zoo, where they investigated the use of different fluorescent stains for assessing Mexican wolf sperm integrity, carried out hormone assays on blood and faecal samples to monitor reproductive cycles, and assisted the contraception centre by sorting survey data to investigate the effects of various contraceptive products on different species.

Amy Brewer has a Ph.D. in Immunology from Trinity College Dublin, an MSc in Reproductive and Developmental Biology from Imperial College London, and a BSc in Animal Science from the University of Nottingham. Amy also has a LAST-Ireland certificate.
