Mario Janssen

Mario Janssen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in international exchange and hospitality. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at J-1 Visa Exchanges, Inc. since August 2021, Mario previously held the position of President and CEO at HTP J-1 Visa Programs, Inc., a designated sponsor of J-1 programs until December 2023. During a successful 21-year tenure, Mario oversaw a streamlined application process that established HTP as a trusted partner among diverse organizations globally. Prior to this, Mario was the General Manager at HRC International from September 1995 to June 2018, where responsibilities included providing talent for the hospitality industry through various international programs. Mario holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Maastricht School of Management, earned between 1991 and 1996.
