Jefferson Cheatham

Jefferson Cheatham serves as Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Jabil, having progressed through roles including Assistant General Counsel and Intellectual Property Counsel since January 2016. Prior to Jabil, Jefferson practiced as a Patent Attorney at Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP, specializing in Intellectual Property law within the electrical arts, and also held similar positions at Barnes and Thornburg, LLP, and Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP. Jefferson's early career includes experience as an Enterprise Architect at BAE Systems, focusing on system development, and as a Satellite Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, overseeing spacecraft flight operations. Jefferson earned a Doctor of Law (JD) in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
