Evelyn Reed

Evelyn Reed has an extensive background in human resources, starting with their role as a Human Resources Intern/Assistant at CATCH, Inc. in 2008. Evelyn then worked as an HR Assistant/Executive Secretary to the Chief HR Officer at Aria Health from 2011 to 2012. Evelyn also gained experience as a Human Resources Representative and HR/Payroll Assistant at Barclay Friends from 2011 to 2013. Evelyn then worked as an HR Generalist-Supervisor at Intercultural Family Services in 2013, and as an HR Business Partner at Hertz from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, Evelyn held the position of Regional Senior HR Administrator (HRA) at Amazon from 2016 to 2017. Evelyn then progressed to become an HR Manager at Jacent from 2017 to 2018. Evelyn advanced through the ranks, holding roles as a Senior Human Resources Manager from 2018 to 2020, a Human Resources Director from 2020 to 2023, and currently as a Senior Director of Human Resources since 2023. In 2022, Evelyn founded their own professional services firm called HR Jawn, where they serve as the Founder and Chief Strategist.

Evelyn Reed earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resources Management and Legal Studies from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in 2010. Evelyn then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on HR Management at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, which they are expected to complete in 2023. In terms of additional certifications, Evelyn obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in October 2022, became a licensed Notary Public in January 2022 through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and earned the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM in October 2021. Evelyn also holds a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, although the exact date of completion is unknown.
