Petros Levis

Petros Levis has an extensive work experience spanning over 30 years. Petros began their career in 1992 as a Graduate Research Assistant at Kansas State University. In 1998, they worked as a Sensory at The Pillsbury Company and as a Senior Sensory Manager at General Mills. In 2006, they became the Sensory Business Unit Manager at General Mills and in 2009, they took on the role of General Manager at Medallion Labs. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at The WhiteWave Foods Company as a Sr. Director of R&D Horizon Organic and Research Science & Regulatory Affairs. From 2017 to 2020, they were the VP of R&I and Pilot Plant Operations at Danone. In 2020, they became the VP of R&D, Manufacturing & Quality at Caliper Holdings. Currently, they are the VP of Research and Development at Jack & Annie's.

Petros Levis received their PhD in Food Science -- Sensory Science from Kansas State University between 1994 and 1998. Petros also obtained a Masters of Science in Food Science - Flavor Chemistry from Kansas State University between 1988 and 1991. Petros has also attended the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, but did not obtain any degree from the school.
