James Altman

James Altman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James is currently serving as the President of Jackrabbit Learning Experience, LLC, where they also held the positions of Chief Strategy Officer and Partner & Head of Strategy. In these roles, they collaborated with partners to develop and enhance strategic outcomes and ensure exceptional learning experiences.

Additionally, James has experience as the Chief Strategy Officer at Story As..., Inc., where they focused on shaping and managing the narrative of businesses.

Before that, they worked at 2U as a Senior Director, Course Strategy, Senior Course Strategist, and Director, Faculty Support and Training. At Northwestern University, James held the positions of Senior Learning Management Consultant, Manager of Faculty Support, and Faculty Support Specialist.

Their early career included roles as a Contract Technology Trainer at the Office of Catholic Schools and as the Director of Information Technology & K-8 Computer Teacher at Northside Catholic Academy.

Throughout their various positions, James Altman has developed expertise in strategy development, learning management, faculty support, and technology training.

James Altman obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Arizona State University, where they attended from 1996 to 1999. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change (MSLOC) with a focus on Adult Learning & Performance at Northwestern University, from 2008 to 2011.
