M. Sandra Severe

M. Sandra Severe, PhD, MPH, currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Jackson North Medical Center, a position held since June 2014. Prior to this role, M. Sandra Severe held various leadership positions at Jackson Memorial Hospital, including Chief Operating Officer and Associate Vice President of Operations, as well as Associate Vice President of Operations at Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital. M. Sandra Severe's earlier experience includes serving as Director and Operations Manager for Early Steps Southernmost Coast at Miami Children's Hospital from December 2004 to January 2012. M. Sandra Severe's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Tulane University, a Master of Public Health in Public Health Education and Communication from the Tulane University Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health/Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from Florida International University.
