Brian J. Christensen is Office Managing Principal of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, office of Jackson Lewis P.C.

Mr. Christensen is a traditional labor attorney who advises unionized and union-free clients on a full range of labor and employee relations matters. He has represented numerous employers during arbitration proceedings and negotiations. His years of experience have given Mr. Christensen the ability to negotiate innovative collective bargaining agreements that provide his clients with years of stability and low costs. His primary focus is to foster relationships with labor that result in maximizing his clients’ operational flexibility to achieve their profitability and efficiency objectives.

Mr. Christensen also represents employers during union organizing drives. He brings a unique approach to resisting union organizing efforts that have resulted in an enviable win-loss ratio. He also represents clients in labor and employment law proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other federal, state and city administrative agencies. He regularly provides advice on a diverse range of workplace issues such as those relating to corporate transactions, best workplace practices and conducts management training on a broad range of topics. Through the years, Mr. Christensen's clients have included local, regional and national concerns in a wide array of industries such as healthcare, meat packing, transportation, arms and ammunition, not-for-profit, charitable institutions, retail, chemical, construction, cement, professional athletics, public education and various public entities, among others.

Prior to joining private practice, Mr. Christensen served on active duty with the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps where he was a legal advisor to an overseas base commander and where he also tried numerous cases. He later served as the Vice President for Litigation, Records Management and Legal Systems for a Fortune 500 diversified financial services company. He is a frequent author and lecturer on topics ranging from labor relations and employment law to managing litigation and electronic discovery.
