Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith, MBA, CPRP, currently serves as Operations Manager for James City County, a role encompassing staff management, volunteer coordination, and the oversight of over 50 summer camps, 150 community classes, and 30 special events since February 2022. Prior experience includes Community Recreation Programmer at Lynchburg Parks and Recreation, managing two community centers with a focus on programming, staff management, revenue generation, and marketing from May 2017 to February 2022. Earlier, Rachel worked as a Recreation Specialist at Runk and Pratt, where the emphasis was on creating therapeutic recreation programs for Dementia residents and coordinating programs with community groups from February 2015 to April 2017. Rachel holds an MBA from Western Governors University, attained between 2019 and 2020, and a degree from Liberty University, earned from 2013 to 2016.
